LEADER & VOLUNTEER
I want to make the world a better place and believe that anybody can make a difference. I always make an effort to help those in need.
Here are some of the organizations and volunteer work that I've been involved with!
March 2013 - Present
Founder & Managing Partner
In 2013, I founded Luminated Career Consulting with a mission to help college students land dream job & internships, plan for the future, and guide then to success. We are a group of young professionals and student leaders with diverse backgrounds, interests, and industry expertise. As a non-profit volunteer group, we have done many collaborations, workshops, and joint events with student groups and faculty at UCLA, UC Irvine, and University of Washington
February 2015 - March 2016
Big Brother, Greater Seattle
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help all children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with volunteer mentors. I had the experience of the lifetime mentoring a young adolescent middle school student for over a year. We met up every weekend and had all sorts of adventures, from playing basketball, visiting the zoo, walking at the park, and many more.
May 2010 - June 2013
UC Irvine | President, Senior Vice President, and VP of Professional Activities
I was highly-involved with Delta Sigma Pi, a professional co-ed business fraternity that students the opportunity to develop through professional, social and community service events. I served in multiple leadership roles over my 3 years of involvement including President, where I led the UC Irvine chapter to win numerous National Awards including the "Most Outstanding Chapter" and "Most Outstanding Professional Events." I was named the 2012 Western Province Collegian of the Year, the top 3 highest individual award, for my contributions to the Fraternity.
September 2009 - June 2012
UC Irvine | President and Creative Director
During my freshman year at UC Irvine, I joined the American Advertising Federation and qualified to join our school's National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) team. I became President during my sophomore year and led the NSAC Team to create marketing campaigns for case clients Statefarm Insurance, JC Penney., and Nissan Motors. Our team was a dedicated group of aspiring marketing professionals, writers, graphic designers, and creatives. This was a great learning experience for all of us to further our knowledge of working in the marketing field.
